Curtains

Making made-to-measure curtains for caravan, motor caravan and boat owners has been a major part of our business for many years. We have very experienced in-house cutters and machinists who take great pride in their work.

Usually customers ask us to make replacements for their existing curtains, although, on occasions there will be no originals to measure, e.g. if a ‘van is being converted into a motor caravan or a boat is being fitted out when new. The curtain fabrics we use fall into 4 main types, Royal Satine, Textured and Plain Polycotton, Printed Polyester and Faux Suede. Fabric samples of any fabrics you like are available free, on request.

ROYAL SATINE

This fabric range is available in 16 colours and has a luxurious ‘satine’ finish. Like our other curtain fabrics it is machine washable, non-shrink and available lined or unlined. Click here to view our curtain fabric samples.

TEXTURED AND PLAIN POLYCOTTON

We have 4 different designs in this type of fabric – Jazz, Nairobi, Bahamas and New York. Between them they offer over 150 variations! PRINTED POLYESTER

The majority of the designs in our range of Caravan and Boat Seat Cover Centre Removable, Machine Washable Polyester Seat Covers (please see our Sample Selector) are available printed on our woven curtain fabric. FAUX SUEDE

This fabric range gives an attractive appearance as well as being practical and easy-care. It is lined, almost opaque and, unusually for this type of fabric, it is machine washable and non-shrink.

Headings & Shaped Curtains

We can fit various types of curtain heading ie. standard ‘rufflette’ type gathered heading tape, or the plastic ‘popper tape’ that is fitted to many touring caravans with sloping front windows and some static holiday caravans. Curtains with a ‘tunnel’ at the top and/ or bottom to allow a pole or wire to pass through are also available. ‘Eyelets’ can be included at the top and/or bottom of your new curtains if you would like to thread them onto a pole, as in many narrowboats.

If you need plastic 'popper tape' off-the-roll for you to fit yourself to your existing curtains, we can supply it at a cost of £2.50 per metre including VAT, postage & packing. More curtain fittings and sundries are shown below.

We are able to make caravan, motor caravan and boat, shaped curtains to any size you require. This includes angled curtains in tourers and shaped ‘over cab’ curtains in motor caravans.

Scatter cushions

These can be made in any of our fabrics and supplied with or without pads. A perfect finishing touch for new caravan, motor caravan or boat curtains and upholstery!

Pelmets

Gathered pelmets can be made any size and in any fabric. Existing pelmet boards can also be re-covered if required.

Tie-backs

Matching simple tie-backs that close with ‘press studs’ can be supplied in any of our fabrics.

Roller Blinds

Available made-to-measure in any of our washable polyester fabric designs or a range of plain wipe-clean roller blind fabrics. Our blinds come complete with a reliable ‘side winder’ mechanism. Contact us for a no-obligation quotation.

Curtain Track & Fittings

‘Popper’ and ‘Swish’ type curtain track and fittings are available from us if required.

We also stock the small ‘plastic blocks’, shown below, that fit into the aluminium track found on many motor caravans. Ours have a moulded-in eyelet that means they will accept curtains with standard heading tape and curtain hooks. Please see below.
